Handmade Ginger Jar Decoupage Tissue Box Cover

What a beautiful way to hold tissue!  Ideal for vanity, bathroom, bedroom, office, etc.  This lovely decoupage tissue box cover is handmade in Houston, TX.  It easily slides over any cubed tissue box.  The artwork is hand-cut, decoupaged, and polished.  Each tissue box cover is then hand painted around the edges as the finishing touch.

First, the papier-mâché base is hand painted with a primer and then two coats of paint.  Next, the artwork is printed and hand cut; the artwork is then decoupaged on the box.  Next, 3 layers are hand applied to create a subtle crackle finish, followed by 6 additional layers of water-based varnish, hand applied to seal the decoupaged artwork.
